<description>In order to receive a tax credit for donations, members can not designate the recipient. The money has to be given to the governing body of the church and the governing body then applies the money toward missions. Does this help?

<description>I am part of the Rez Life staff in St. Louis MI. Pastor Randy has asked that I use this means of communication to see if anyone has any suggestions on the following:
We have someone from our congregation that is becoming a full time missionary. Does anyone have any suggestions/comments on how to provide financial support through our church and others in the congregation/community?

		<description>Greetings,

The information regarding Christian Care Medi-Share as an alternative to health insurance per our discussion with senior pastors can be located at http://www.medi-share.org. You can also contact them at 1-800-264-2562. Please keep in mind this is a medical sharing program and not insurance. Our costs are kept down through healthy lifestyles. They have various programs depending on your individual budget.

They have a Christian Care Ministry Association of Churches and various perks for pastors. They will soon have a healthly church website. They have just recently changed to a PHCS provider network. Living in Cheboygan requires that we go out of network. I called to determine the rate changes and penalties since we are out of the network of providers and they have assured me that we will not be penalized due to our location and absence of network providers. Comfort to those of us living on the edge of civilization!

If you decide to process an application with Medi-Share please think to submit our name as a referral. We get a discount applied to our membership monthly fee for each new member registered.

Blessings, Pastor Michael Konieczny RLC, Cheboygan

		<description>Good leadership books &#38; a quick read:
The Five Temptations of a CEO--Lencioni
The Four Obsessions of an Extraordinary Executive--Lencioni

If you are a new or small church looking for help in designing your overall flow and purpose of ministry I highly recommend this book:
The Simple Church--Rainer &#38; Geiger</description>

<description>Just wanted to say thank you to everyone who made my wife &#38; I feel welcomed at the summer conference this past week. It was our first time at an RLCI event and we enjoyed it very much. The fellowship, the food, the accommodations, the worship and the teachings by Pastor Duane and others were all very good. Lori and I look forward to more interaction and fellowship with you all.

Blessings, Clint &#38; Lori Zehr
